Applications for the September 2025 Intake open on 1st September 2024 for new Year 7 and 15th November 2024 for the new Reception Intake

The Citizens Portal allows parents/carers of children, to make applications for school places (including in-year admissions), two year old funding and free school meals.

In Year Admissions.

Please ensure you have read our in-year admissions guide before you begin the application process as this will assist you in understanding the process.

Please note that there is no closing date for In-Year applications, however, they can take up to 15 school days to process during busy periods. Applications made now may not receive a decision until early to mid September. If you are applying for a place to start in a new academic Year at the beginning of September (e.g. Your child is current Year 8 and you are applying for Year 9 in September 2024) then please put a preferred Start Date from 1st September 2024 when making the application

Primary & Junior School Applications for September 2024 Intake

To make a late application, please email admissions@devon.gov.uk or telephone 0345 1551019 to request a copy. Please note late applications will be considered after all on-time applications and maybe at a disadvantage.

Secondary/UTC/Studio School Applications for September 2024
